DUDE WTF??? rodent in carb

so, i went down to class today morning and tried to crank over the engine on and old mini bike that was running the other day

when i tried to crank it over it kept dying, i was like "omg those dam grade 9 kids broke it".

after a couple of trials my friend pointed out to me that their was a long brown rope of some sort sticking out the "Unfiltered Carb"

I was like, "Dam grade nines, il strangle you with this rope".

I proceeded to yank the rope, only to see a chewed up mouse attached to the so called "Rope".

I was like "Dude WTF!!"

everyone crowded around and chuckled, i proceeded to pull out my camera phone and sneak a pic of it, when the teacher said that if the picture got into the administrations hands they would shut the auto shop down an sterilize it, which would take 4 weeks.

I didn't want that to happen so we ended up tossing out the rodent and cleaning out the carb.

From this day on, i will never leave a carb without the end filter on.

I wish i could of taken a pic, but it was nasty and im not up for being beaten by the auto shop boys

Awww dude that sucks! I had my next door neighbor come up to me on Sunday and ask me if I could get rid of a dead gopher on her side of the fence. I thought it was no problem. Well I went over there and picked it up with a bag when suddenly a waft of wind hit the dead rodent and blew it towards my face

She didn't know about it because she had been gone for a few days so it had to have been sitting there in the hot sun for at least 2 or 3 days.

HAHAHA. no way!
My shool doesnt run auto shop so i had to wood work and metal work. i suggested to my teacher that we make a minibike, saying that I would supply my own engine, clutch, chain and sprocket but nooooo.. we got to make a bird feeder instead!!!

What I'm wondering is why the rodent looked "chewed up" that was in the carb?

I really want autoshop too, but I might be able to get it in a few years. That rodent must have been interesting....yesterday I found a chewed up bird in the starter housing of my Tecumseh. You should have heard the cloud of profanity!

LOL...I'm not sure how it got in there, though there is a small opening between the starter cover and the block, so ???

I have heard of mouse and rat powered but this is a first for bird power.....
So when you get done are you trying to say this motor is going to fly

I was out in my garage last week and I had one of my parrots out with me, well he got spooked by something and he took off flying and flew out into the street and almost got hit by a truck. The truck wasn't going very fast though and the driver managed to see the bird on time to stop. The bird came within like 2 inches, literally, of being hit by the truck. Gonna have to clip his wings again before he gets himself in trouble.

I have too....you are talking to a chevy-holic here (but we're not going to start with THAT conversation). It would be a miracle if this thing ran again....though I think I'll play God and try it out.

Pretty much....though it is an H60 6hp aluminum block from the late 60's/early 70's (just a little info there for you guys)
