Drum to Disk brake conversion - help!

On a one piston caliper (maybe even with both sides having pistons) , either the caliper or the disc has to be able to slide left or right. This is so the disc isn't always rubbing against the pad, when the brakes are not applied. Just like a mid size car disc brake set up. The caliper slides back and forth on the 2 retaining bolts..... In the case of karts, we can have either one float.
I believe the most popular way is to float the disc...... It's easy to do. Just sand the crap out of the bore on your disc until it slides and spins freely. Sand one side of your key and have that face the bottom of the axle key way. Put a locking collar on both sides of it, and oil it a little.... Make sure it still slides back an forth.....
