Took me a while to get around to it but it holds water now! I went back and forth on this one whether to MIG weld it or JB Weld it. In the end I chose MIG. I'm not the greatest welder so it looks like crap but it doesn't leak!
I would do this repair again but I'd practice welding more first. Also I found that it welded best while running vertical down.

Here I put a little pooky on it to make my welds look better. Ready for paint. Shouldn't look too bad whizzing by on camera:-D

You're gamer than me, I didn't even think about MIG, I just handed mine to my buddy & said "TIG it... please"

No leaks, looks good and runs better than ever! Tearin' up the winter garden. When that's all done, she comes off for repowering the infamous "Bullitt" kart!
