driveshaft getting stuck please diagnose

My driveshaft gets stuck when i tighten the bolts on the side cover snuggly. It wont allow me to pull start engine do i need a washer or something for the driveshaft ?

oh, the crank shaft....

We need more info of the engine type.

Is the crankshaft bent?

Did you mix and match parts?

Are you sure everything is seated in as far as it goes?

Aside from that... if you don't put much info in, you aren't getting much out.

My guess is endplay. Adjust with sidecover gaskets.

Or double-up on thinner ones. Torque bolts to spec.

Is the gasket gone? That could play a huge role in this.

fixed the problem already, the gasket i had was too thin so i got another one and stacked it on top and now it does not stick anymore.
