I am thinking up the drive-train (sprocket and chain) setup for my homemade goped/scooter and wanted to get some advice on my setup to see if it would work.
I have a 10 tooth sprocket on my engine going to a 35 tooth on a jackshaft which also has a 10 tooth on the jackshaft going to a 20 tooth sprocket on my axle.
would this work and what would the gear ratio be?
does the jackshaft make a difference to the gear ratio?
