What other options, besides the 40 series CVT, are there available for the Predator 420s? No matter how exotic, as long as its obtainable readily. I dont plan to ever rev it past 6k.

Other than weights and springs, are there any other upgrades to the 40 series? Is there any benefit to changing driver or driven size?

My issue is im not happy with how the CVT behaves natually. I dont want to have to choose between accel or top speed (so much). I understand this can be tuned with springs and weights but I would still like to know what other options there are.

Drill new holes for the spring to sit in. Change the preload so to say. The 30 series has that option. Why not make the 40 adjustable.

Already have that done. Great improvement but just not quite enough. Maybe go one setting higher?

Have you tried the lighter weights and stiffer springs? Or have you just convinced yourself that it won't be enough. With a modified ungoverned engine that starts really pulling from 4k rpm they make a huge difference. Changes the whole personality of the kart. Best $40 speed part I have ever purchased. And I've purchased a lot.
