Drive belt Question

I am mounting a new motor mount plate to fit my 420cc engine in the back of my yerf dog. I will have a 40series torque converter and new clutch to fit the engine. With that said, I would like to keep the stock 60T sprocket and 10T on jackshaft. However, the distance of the motor from the jackshaft will be altered. Is this as simple as getting a longer belt as long as the width is the same? OR should I adust jackshaft angle and height as well and get a longer chain?

The 40 series belts all require a certain centre to centre distance between driven and driver. You order whatever belt you need for whatever distance you have decided on. Have a look at this link near the bottom of the page where it gives the chart for 40 series belts
