drill press mini bike

i got a basically a brand new mini drill press from my boss along with my pay, and i have a pocket bike frame that i bulked up to fit a bigger motor. i origally wanted to put a 2 horse motor in it but the frame is to small. and im wondering if the motor will run off one car batterie. maybe with an inverter maybe?

i am not sure if that will work out. may be way too expensive and complicated for what its worth.

i would use or sell the drill press and buy a pocket bike engine. lol.

lol, ya i might just get an engine. dont need to sell the drill press though for the money. like that space if to big for a pocket bike motor, and to small for a mini bike. i might buy my friends weed eater for 20 bucks. 33cc or 23cc something like that. but then i have the trouble of cutting the shaft(which isnt hard) and mounting a sprocket on the drive shaft.

i think it does. ill have to take the plastic casing off to find out for sure though

if it has a clutch you can try, but weedwackers in general dont have much power so even if you gear it right, you might be disappointed.

what pocket bike is it? cag? cateye? im on a pocket bike forum and i see some real cool mods people do, like home made 5 port cylinders and stuff, you can get some serious power out of those pocket bikes.

ya i know thats why i dont want the weed eater motor. to small to loud and to weak. im not really looking for speed as i am tourqe cause its a full suspension pocket dirt bike. and i dont think i can do anything with 5 ports. im thinking about a go ped motor. im not to sure of that brand its just a chinease motor, ill find out
