Drift trike wheels

I plan on building a drift trike but the only thing making me want to second guess starting the project is the cost for wheels.

So I was just wondering if their were any cheaper alternatives than spending 150$ on racing go karts wheels and than putting plastic sleeves over em.

Yamahakid look on bob's 4 cycle (racing kart forum) and I'm sure you can find someone local to get a set of used wheels and tires for cheap.
I pay 20 each for my used tires with wheels.

Tell them you want two 12" right side tires and wheels. Those would be 12" tall x 8" wide x 6" wheels.
If you don't want that wide get two left rears 11.5" tall x 6" wide x 6" wheel.

These are 12" x 10" -6" wheels that are on mine right now.

Does it have to be the monster-wide rear tires, or can you go narrower?
