I'm going to build this trike from stuff I have laying around and for as low budget as I possibly can...just to see if I can do it. So that means I'm using scrap steel that I have laying around and using parts from any source I can. I even used stuff I had laying around for the axle too! So day 1...got the rear frame/motor mount welded up and got the pillow blocks and axle installed. Still have to weld in the other rear spindle and line everything up, but not bad for about 3 hours work.

Day 3 : took everything apart and prepped and painted. Had a can of red enamel in the cabinet that looks pretty good in my humble opinion...and silver for the handlebars and wheels. Next step is final assembly!
