I'm sure some of you are farmiliar with the show...

Just finished watching an episode where the Vintage Car was an Austin 7 Sports Coupe driven by Mardi van Dyk.

This car was powered by a 10hp 4 cylinder engine. At one point, Mardi makes the comment "it's fun to drive, in a way that a go kart is fun to drive" followed by many other go kart references like "I thought this was 'dream car garage' not dream go kart garage" & "now I just nee to find my way to the nearest go kart track"

Wow- let's put that into perspective. 2 1/2hp per cylinder. That doesn't even cut it for a go kart! The power/weight ratio must have been just abysmal! I just finished reading a Wiki entry on the car. At about 800lbs, that would be equal to powering a 200lb kart with 2 1/2hp! Thank god for multi-speed transmissions, but no tire-fryer to be sure!
