Dove Season!

Was reading the recipies thread and Doug and squab and etc, etc.....

For Central zone Texans -- dove season is almost here. About as exciting at the UT Football game that will be kicking off at 6pm this Saturday. OHHHHHHHHH it's a heck of a weekend, folks.

Our dove season starts Monday. Huge population up here this year. Especially good in a burgundy wine sauce, similar to coq au vin. I'll be fighting my dogs for supper again.
