I'm in the process of getting my engine to run. Ok so the rod on the govenor to the carb that is not the one that controls choke. So it's the one that I guess controls gas and air flow. When I push on the gas pedal it looks like it barely moves. It moves a little. But noT much. Yes I already check throttle cable and it's moving fine. I put some carb and govenor cleaner on it to remove some of the gunk but it still just moves alittle. Is this normal?
Doesn't seem right.

Depends how much does it rev the engine up? or does ur engine run yet? becuase i had a carb that moved little but reved it up good.

If the engine is not running, pay it no mind. It won't really start doing anything until the governor is acting upon it (engine running).
