Why are you on DIYGK if your looking at new karts?

I wouldn`t buy it , V-Belt drive system ? > won`t work well if it gets wet
6.5 HP > very slow and you can ask your passenger to push you up the hill or driveway , lol .
That kart woill need about a 12 to 20 Hp motor to be of use , sorry to ruin ur day .

Not necessarily. If the top speed is 22mph then it has an approximate gear ratio of 7.2:1, which could haul an adult and child of appropriate weight with no problem.

pavement is one thing, dirt and grass is another.

i will say i loose traction in sand and dirt, but partley because the rear wheel is bald, and it used to climb and go thru grass well, but now thats its all bald it dosent do so well

For another $200 you can be in the Honda FL350 range. Nice buggies with 350cc and reverse.

your going to drive me crazy with all these pics of awesome buggies! it would be awesome to drive this thing around with my friends on ATVs and dirt bikes! if only i had some more cash and parts!

do you have any more info on the ody pictured?
