I had a thought today about using a pic of the build off winning entry with the site name under it, being that that's what we do. The above pic doesn't really indicate what we're about. What do you guys think?

What I would like to see-

* The web URL- not just the phrase "Diy Go Karts", but rather "www.diygokarts.com" to promote the site and forum at a glance.

* A simple line drawing like Fabroman shows- it translates well to both printing, and vinylcutting.

* UNlike Fabroman's suggestions, (although he did mention it) I would like the line drawing to better reflect what we're all about. A little less "race kart" and a little more "homebrew".

I was looking at clipart last night (Google Search), but we have to watch copyrights and loyalties.

These are just my thoughts, individual mileage may vary.

I may have an idea. If i have time, I'll run it through Photoshop. Will post the .psd, .tiff, and .png.

Realized I don't have my tablet with me, but I came up with a rough logo.

I'm using Photoshop. I saved it in GIF to upload it here since this site won't accept PNG and TIFF's are too big.

Gotcha- I ask because I would really like to see the end result (yours, somebody else's, whatever logo we land on) end up in a file format that we can literally hand to our local graphics shops for instant gratification. My poor dog's gonna just s**t when I stick one to her!!!:roflol:

Oh now that's just evil:roflol:

Like I said, I'll output the photoshop format (PSD) with layers intact, TIFF for the graphics guy, and PNG for Robert.

I'll have my tablet with me tomorrow evening so I can clean it up then.
