Hello everyone, so over got a dongfang 200 go kart. I've bought a new 212 and did the internal governor delete process including aluminum fly wheel, 22lb valve springs, header and a nibbi carb. So far the Preformance isn't what I thought it would be. I know it needs tuning and I'll get to that butt it's no faster at the moment. Could it be that the transmission forward/reverse has limits? It has a 30 series converter from Amazon currently. I have a new comet brand converter but I would have to remove the transmission to use it. I would like to change the sprocket on the axle but not sure how to remove the axle, I would like to adjust the axle also because the chain comes off sometimes. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Got pics? Take some pics. Just upload them directly to the site.

Exactly what kind of performance were you looking for? Exactly what kind of performance (RPMs) are you getting with the upgrades? Best not to guess so a digital tachometer is a great idea. But, a big heavy kart, I mean China buggy, with a 212 might be a struggle especially with two passengers.

Knowing the tooth count of every chain sprocket you have would be immensely helpful as well as the height of the rear tires (at full inflation of course).
