Okay culvers place.

So i found one south of austin tx. It was real clean and modern looking. Only one customer inside.


They have a good menu to choose from. Burgers, sandwhiches, even shrimp.

I ordered the double patty mushroom swiss, fries and rootbeer.

I dont drink soda that much anymore but i used to drink rootbeer all the time. And theres said culvers rootbeer. So i had to try it.

Not as good as a&w, but a&w does have tap root beer at some places thats amazing.

So i guess it was okay.

The burger was pretty good. Looked to be freshly cooked not sitting in hot water type look. Was juicy amd had the consistancy of somwhwere between wendys and foster freeze.

I would say overall it was a good burger. I would go again.

In fact if anyone has had foster freeze, the place felt exactly like it but with modern look inside. Foster has 50s style decore. While culvers place was looking brand new.

Here is the burger i got.


Oh yah crinkle cut fries just like foster freeze too. They could have been cooked longer. But still feally good. Not the best fries but real close.

P.s. i went at 2:30 so maybe busier during lunch?

Yeah as with any other fast food joint, food taste and how well it's done really depends on whose working and how well they've been trained etc. Some days it's excellent, other days it makes you want to kick a baby lol.

3 weeks from tonight I will be arriving at our new Final Destination.

I have been too busy fixin up the house here so we can rent it.
We remodeled the kitchen and the bath All DIY me and the Wife.
Finally actually putting stuff in Boxes,
I have a Penske truck reserved for the 29th.

I cant wait to get outa here and get back to Texas!
Hopefully then I can get my shop set up and start building something.
The Champ has still got... I may still enter the 2017 build off, hey there are still 6 months.

So when do you get the shop set up?

I got another load of crap still in ca. My air compressor and half my tools.
This house has a really big garage. But i do not have any work benches or cabinets or countrr tops yet.
Unfortunately. Family priorities are gonna keep me on the hpuse hold honey do list for a while. But the potential fpr a really nice shop exists here.
Plus a huge storage sheds to park all 5 karts in is already here. I uust need to change the door so i can fit karts into it.
