DIY Meetups?

I got real excited about devino246's go at the 2 speed belt tensioner because I always wanted to try it. And, I'd like to see/drive it when it's done.

Then it hit me..."There needs to be a DIY meetup where members can show off their crazy contraptions that most of their friends and neighbors don't 'get'."

And there you have it. Windows 7 was my idea.

Seriously, has this been done on any scale?

If your in NC in the next year or so(or VA after that probably) It would be great to meet up. If i ever get a truck, ill be taking it to my great uncles farm in VA to drive it on the rural roads around there.

Yeah regional, bring your prized projects, in the bush or an empty parking lot physical meetup. Part kart show, swap meet test and tune.

I ride at the old Home Depot in Denton TX. Would be a pefect location for a North Texas meetup. Just an idea.

For my DIY friends across the pond, your gonna have to draft some more crazy folks like us.

Devino, I'm planning a go-kart related trip to WV one day. That's only a few hundred miles off right? lol Wait, I'll be in Raliegh in October for a wedding so who knows.

Im not sure what part of WV your going to, but i go to Lynchburg VA at least a few times a month. My great uncle has a 400 acre farm near there. Raliegh is like 4 hours away if its worth it to you.
