Diy kids ride on gone mad

Hello everyone, im new to this forum so would like to say hello to all.

I've ventured in to a mad upgrading frenzy on my sons ride on car and stumbled into a problem after upping the amps on the standard controller @32v, i know, i know.

So it was a 6v ride on mercedes, put in Dual 12v 30000rpm (but found out 30000rpm is at 24v) motors. 3d printed some motor brackets.
1200w buckboost converter for constant voltage and current
Replaced speed controller for a yk31c
Hall effect throttle pedal

And just for fun a 200w bluebtooth amp 2 25w speakers built into the doors and a 100w bass speaker behind the seat.

Issue i am now having is as soon as i connect the battery motors spin and throttle does nothing

What if you disconnect the throttle?

Just trying to isolate for trouble shooting.

You may have some luck with this over at Modified Power Wheels .com
I was there before coming here. Good people, but not many stepping up to a controller of this size. the drive trains are just too weak and roll factor at speeds off road is too high. cost + effort leads most to just step up to metal and rubber = go karts.

Hi, diconnecting the throttle and powering on, nothing happens. The throttle pedal came the day of my first post and the controller is new. I know 1 of the 2 has q problem or was hoping someone was gonna say it was wired wrong.

Yh this has gotten out control lol, but i am really just trying to work out why the yk31c is not working with the throttle pedal and shoukd it work with my set up. I will check out the powerwheels forum for sure though.

My understanding is that the voltage is splitt between the 2 motors and these motor gear box combination is rated for 24v each. At 30v 20a it was way too fast and probably wont go higher than 40v 5a lol. He does have a helmet and neck support

Is your throttle wired properly?

It should be
...red wire on the throttle plug to red wire on speed controller plug (power)
...black wire on throttle plug to black wire on controller plug (GND)
…& the third wire (usually blue or white) to the other third wire (blue or white) on the controller plug (signal)

You my friend are a star. I just looked at mine and saw it wasnt right, i just plugged it in and never thought it would not be wired correct.
