Here's the thing. This camera takes awesome videos. So far the best angle is right between the handle bars.
Keeping the headlight in the frame helps the eye have reference, as compared to a head cam mount that almost makes you seasick to watch.
The mount in the pics is one of many that came with it, but this one seems to work best with its locking strap.
Unfortunately, it picks up every sound transmitted in the frame of the bike, including the engine internals, and it sounds just awful.
I tried an elastic and velcro body harness thing today that basically puts the camera in the middle of one's chest.
It was ok. The sound was 100% better, but a little more bouncing around than I would like.
The biggest downfall was when Abby rode, it became a butt cam, which wasn't so good.
Anyways, I've tried rubber under the mount, and something like a real thick scrubbie. The rubber still transferred the noise, and the scrubbie allowed too much vibration.
I really want to keep the camera on the handlebars, so it's suggestion time.
What have you?
Thanks.
