Types of frames

I am building a go kart as well and decided to use the frame from an older pedal kart. The frame is pretty small for my size so I will definitely modify it, but in your case something similar could work out great

Hello JDMkid, I have put into it approx. $1200 + new Birel frame for $120. Most parts has been bought used from different sites including offshore. On the engine I saved some money. I was about to buy the HF 212CC, then got a FREE Honda GX160 that I broke apart and sand cleaned it to new, thought about ordering performance parts for it as I didnt spend money obtaining it, but most of my friends here at DGK and Bob's 4 Cycle, advice me to get a 200CC engine block and start from there. I bought a 208CC block for about $23 and buying all performance parts little by little.

NOTE: I still need to purchase seat and brackets and install the engine, and it should be running.

GOOD LUCK
