Ok I do not have pics but here goes. I use the little silver box as a kill switch.
1 Disconnect the yellow wire from the plug going to the block. (the one on the block just dangles)
2 leave the other wire attached to the shut off switch
3 Now run the yellow wire (From the silver box) to the driver compartment
4 attach it to a momentary switch (like a horn button)
5 the other wire from the horn button goes to ground.

This gives you an insant OFF with the touch of a button.
Most aftermarket kart or minibike shutoffs are hold down the button till the motor grounds out. This is much better.
Good luck. post your pics and questions

I always advise that you use a switch, not a button, because as soon as you let go of the button the engine can come to life again. With a switch, it is off

Not when you attach it to the low oil cutoff box. Once it grounds, it turns the engine off, even if it loses ground a fraction of a second later.

Ya it's a dead stop when that is hit.
At first I just held the switch and a jumper, scratched ground(with button down) and it stopped with out a stuttered restart.

Yep! What they said. I actually use a doorbell button. It is a 1/2" round and fits in the hole in the steering wheel. We can just bump it with a thumb in a panic and the motor will shut off dead.
I thought I made that clear in the extra paragraph after my 5 point plan.
