direct drive?

my freind is building a mini chopper and we were wondering about using a direct drive if we couldn't find a clutch for it? let me know what ur opinion is

sounds like a terrible idea, just because you wouldn't be able to stop --- but it would be possible. I was told that a friend of mine made one like that as a kid -- and he's still alive... but I certainly can't recommend it!

what's the output size on the shaft that you can't find a clutch?

my first one was like that ot was a three whell trike it would onley turn one was to if cant find a clutch to fit but a sproket just use a jackshaft and have the clutch on that
