Dingo speed reduction

I need to reduce max speed to allow grand kids to ride safely. I maxed out the throttle stop screw on the Predator. Acceleration
is slower but top end seems to be the same. Obviously a longer screw may be the answer but is there something about the torque converter I'm missing?

Yes. The genuine comet 30 series have a low speed kit that keeps the weight pack from expanding too far, always keeping it in l'ow 'gear'.

Additionally, you can swap out the 9t jackshaft sprocket for an 8t type c sprocket.

Or you can get a larger axle sprocket to lower the gearing further
