Just bought my 10yo daughter a go cart, think its a dingo frame, But it has 22" tires.
It came with a lct 6.5 clone engine, had a cent clutch 10 tooth, 60 tooth rear. it will hardly budge its own weight, dont know how anyone rode it with a cent clutch. Picked it up for $120.
I just ordered an ebay tav 30 series, it will have 6:1 ratio 10driven 60axle.
With the 22" tires do you think it will be ok for yard use on 2 acres or will it burn belts, with a 100lb rider?
I dont want to change tires, or rear sprocket if possible, the brakes are scrub set up for the 22" tires and i like the idea of small rear sprocket for ground/rock clearence.
Is there an 8 tooth sprocket avalibe for the driven? In 40/41 pitch? That would give 7.5:1
What is the tav underdrive rated at with 6:1 and 22" tires? I know the overdrive would be 5.4:1.
