Assuming I have 4 x 4in tires, the size says: 4.10 - 3.50 - 4
I want to replace the rear tires to 6in just to give it alittle lean.

Does this put extra stress on the motor? It's a small 3HP, what size teeth should I use on the hub and the clutch, as I'm looking to replace both.

Thanks

You may want to consider going to a 5 inch wheel in place of a 6.

Tires can get a lot more expensive when you make that jump from 5 to 6.

So make sure you price the whole package of wheel, tire and tube before you start buying parts.

A good deal on a set of 6 inch wheels may get expensive when you have to buy tires to fit on them!

if you go to larger tires you need to lower the gearing to make up for the larger tire size most likely if you dont you wont be too happy with the low end power...

I've got 4's on the front and 5's on the rear of my old Manco and it works fine.
I've got 12 teeth on the clutch and 72 on the sprocket because I wanted more take-off as I run out of straight pretty quickly. For a bigger oval I've got a 60 tooth sprocket to get more top end.
