Can someone provide some info on the different carb types for the standard flathead B+S 5hp engine? My model is a 130202. My engine has the pull-out slide choke and used the flat mostly square metal air cleaner.
There was a later type that used a lever for the choke and used a cylinder type air cleaner. This seems to be the best model because it appears to be less restrictive around the choke area. The gas cap also angled out a bit to make it easier to fill.
Then later, there was the carb that uses a plastic big gas cap and IIRC nonreplaceable jets. It also uses a flat box-type air cleaner that uses a paper filter.
Are there model or series numbers for these carbs? I'm looking for the second type I described.
