This karting thing is already out of control! :D It started last week when I picked up a kart minus motor and a few other things for $50 to make a nice father and son project. Then yesterday I drove 45 minutes to get a 5.5hp b&s motor for it. Then this morning on CL I found this kart and drove 30 minutes one way and bought it. Anyway I paid $200 for this one and its complete just needs minor work. Did I get good deal on this one? There's a rag in the intake as I have the carb removed for a rebuild.

I did a few things before trying to start her. Changed the oil, cleaned out the gas tank then before starting I took the float bowl off and it was full of water :ack2: Gave it a quick cleaning and put some gas in her and she fired up. She only would run for about three seconds at a time so I will pick up a rebuild kit or have it rebuilt tomorrow. On with the pics.

hey thats the exact same kart i got! sounds good so far..
something i would recomend is replacing those shocks with better ones cause they tend to bounce around ALOT.

Do you know the model number? All I know is it's a yerf dog/manco condor. It's got the Tecumseh 6 hp. All I can tell right now it needs is a new chain, front tires, clutch driver is missing some teeth, carb rebuilt and some general lubing. How much did you pay for yours and what springs did you go with?

That's one hell of a deal for $200. Look up the manco 710 line. We sold the 710XTE at work which was a 2 seater but the same basic principle. On manco's/american sport works website they have manuals for their stuff. If nothing else just click on each one until you find the exact model that breaks down the same as yours.

It's the manco ez rider. I dont know the exact number. And yea that was a really good deal! That briggs with some performance parts could be nice on that because it would be light weight.

He'll of a deal. I have a Manco 710 XTK 2 seater. Looks very similar to yours. Get a Briggs engine for that. There are more mods to be had.

Its a great deal, and I will agree that it is a Manco, this is produced by Manco following them absorbing Avenger Karts. Color and style points to being very similar to those earlier Yellow Jacket karts.

Fantastic deal.

Make sure you clean that drive clutch and make sure the driven is in its proper place preceding the cam buttons before operation. If this forums has nothing on how to clean comet drive clutches tell me and I'll pop something up.
