Use the search function with the keywords "arachnid build"; there are a few & most have indepth info on the front suspension

 My bad, I saw "A arm" & immediately assumed "double"...

Well, my first post is useless then...

There's not a lot of single A arm karts builds around, probably because if you're gonna go to the trouble of building A arms in the first place, it's not that much more work to make another two arms & throw in a few heim joints...

Why do you specifically want single arms?

Only thing I know about single arm is that you want the arm length as long as possible to minimise camber change at the end as it pivots.

Don't really know of any threads but I do know of some good photos that show the arms, I'll find them an post them up

And all rights to respective owners etc

I can't imagine it's that much easier that it's worth doing over a conventional A-arm set-up, minus the extra cost of some heims I suppose. The camber changes must be massive throughout the travel range!

You can do front spring suspension, that is easy. You just make the bracket that holds the kingpin for your spindle long enough for the spindle and a spring to go over top.

OR

You can do this single a-arm suspension thing here. I got this pic off Craigslist a while ago because I thought it was interesting. I have no further information about it other than this pic.

Build a j arm system like the honda odyssey, I have one and the front suspension works great, gives lots of ground clearance and is strong, the picture attached is of my odyssey I paid $60 for missing a motor, currently swapping a 440 liquid cooled snowmobile engine into it
