WAHT THA WAT??? That is CARNAGE! Looks like a mild steel axle (which means softer metal), try to get a nicer axle for the next one, that one's toast. Also make sure the TC driver is a snug fit on the shaft, the key shouldn't be transmitting the power like that.

just got off the phone with gopowersports, they say its out of warranty (bought it October 2020) and its $45 for a new sprocket + shaft. Im going to try and weld up the shaft, then turn it down on my lathe and machine a new keyway on my mill I might be able to fix the sprocket on my mill too, if not they are $12.

Seems like GPS has an issue with these backplate 40 series setups. Many report having bearing problems.

Looks the the more durable 5/8 bearing unit, right?
