Welp this is the 7th design I've tossed around, and first one I've somewhat finished. If you have sketchup I'll try to upload my file and you can check it out in full 3d for yourself. I welcome any and all opinions about it, tweaks, whatever. I have not put in shock placement yet, and also have not finished the front mock up for the a-arms as I was just thinking about ordering the yerf dog 15 degree a arms from (iirc) bmi parts and using those since they are 12 1/2" and should work out perfectly. This is just the basic frams mock up. 8' 2" long, 4' wide at frame, should be 5' at front wheels give or take, and axle to axle should be around 88". I also have not done the engine supports yet as I was going to do those irt after I got the rear end attached, sprocket on, and jack shaft on so I can measure everything out and line it up.

Well here's the pics, and I can upload mroe if you want different angles. Will try to upload the sketchup file in a min here and see how it goes. I may have to change the rollbar to 1/2" square tube... idk yet as I have to see how many feet of tube I'm at in my current design...

Crap, added everything up, thought I was right on target as I have 56' of 1 1/2" square tube...design calls for 58'...crap. Thats ok as I have 14' of 1/2" square (stainless) that I can switch out for the seat mounts, and the front brace up front, so so far so good.

...& how will you attach those pieces to the main frame? Last time I checked stainless & steel are not fond of each other...

My first though about your design is you need some support between the front & the roll bar, without it, there's no strength...

As they would be used for the seat mounts, and light very front top brace I can just weld some brackets then bolt them through, and secure using some nylock nuts and locking washers. I was already thinking the same thing about the tieing front and back together, and think I can modify with what extra I have to do so.
