Well... I finally did it. I done gone broke my go kart. I found a nice set of custom studded 18x8.5x8 tires and slapped them on the back of my kart, popped the new TC on it after the old one ejected itself all across the lawn, brapped full throttle and shot a rod right through the back of the 212cc. So... 22hp Predator here we go! (Thanks to Cars and Cameras for the idea)

Oops. Just make sure that the 22HP is not too much for the kart

There's no such thing as too much engine. Everybody knows that.

There is such thing as not enough kart for the engine though.

I put a 13 hp 389cc on my little go kart and it pops wheelies too. Why not try something more practical and get the predator 420cc? (this is coming from someone who does impractical things).

Kill switch
brakes
helmet

make sure all that is in order and don't be surprised if you end up with a bent or sheared jackshaft, chain not lasting, and stripped or broken jackshaft and/or axle sprocket. My nephew was riding around one of the go karts i fixed i w/22" tires doing donuts. We hadn't been watching how much the chain stretched from all that extra torque and before you know it he stripped out both the jackshaft and axle sprocket. One thing that the video doesnt show is that the bolt on 40 series is good for up to 16 hp, and the 40 series by itself is good for up to 18 hp. The predator 670cc is modeled after a 24 hp engine, so take it for what its worth. There are a lot of things you have to account for behind the scenes that aren't that fun to achieve something that looks really fun.

Massive sarcasm here... stay tuned.

OH...I'm looking over, my dead dog rover...

who I hit with the power mower.

One leg is missing, the other is gone.

The third leg is scattered all over the lawn.

No need explaining, there's no dog remaining...

It's a musical.

PICS or it didn't happen.

I wish my camera wasn't such a POS but I have the frame modded enough so it can handle the power of a AC 700 engine I was gonna put on it but never did, plus made a sprocket that can take 520 chain if I wanted to put a dirtbike engine on it. Though 22hp ain't all that much considering what factory options are out there. Plus I'd like to have the recharge capacity the 670 so more lights can be run.
