I just measured the bore of my GX140 and the wear really isn't as bad as I thought, so thankfully I don't need to get oversize piston and rings (can't find them anywhere). I'll just buy a new set of standard rings, but the cross hatching on the cylinder has gone and I was wondering what you lot use for deglazing a cylinder and if you have any tips for how I should go about this. Thanks in advance.

Most of the time it's not really needed, however, it's claimed that it helps with breaking in rings as well as oil control..
If there is a blackish brown tinge on cylinder walls, that would be a good time for a light honing.
