as far as i can tell this is about the the worst thing that happened locally. the wind just push a hydro pole over but it stopped at a building so the power never went out.

Lost my power yesterday afternoon, luckily my neighbor gave me his spare generator to use.

Glad to hear nobody (so far) sustained any real damage; it seems most areas dodged a bullet this time. From all reports we're getting here, it seems NYC copped the worst of it but, looking at devino's pic, I could be wrong about that
