hello,i am building a go kart with a golf cart axle & briggs 16 hp engine. i like the post on removing governer on a 5 hp briggs. and am assuming same procedure will work. i dont have original linkage from throttle to gov arm or correct springs. have been guessing length and tensions without alot of luck,removal should solve problem.
does this sound like the best way to go?
any input is appreatiated , thank you

Yeah....if it's a fan/vane governor....no problem....unless you blow it up....but that's not all that easy.....just takes a little common sense....

told wife its true i am insane , not that at 60 im building a go cart but who im building it for (me) lol
