I am curious as to:

1. Where do you ride your kart.

2. Is the kart for you or your kids.

3. How much time do you spend working on it.

4. Does your wife know how much money you spent on it.

5. How often do you ride it.

1) I'm on 10 acres, with a 1000' long gravel driveway, which extends another 300' past the house. I'm in the back country, so sometimes I hit the road (gravel), too.

2) Me. I built another one for my kids. They couldn't handle my beast (or reach the pedals)

3) Lately, not much. I've had a lot on the go, and it's apart for major mods right now.

4) Yes. But she'd rather I spend a few bucks on that, rather than booze, drugs, gambling, whatever.

5) See answer #3. Hope to have it operational in the next month or so, this time with a motorcycle engine, rear articulating suspension, ATV knobbies on all four corners, and fresh paint. I built my own front suspension last year.

1. Dads 300 acre farm :)
2. For me. If I had kids riding karts at 16, something would be seriously up :roflol:
3. Less time than I spend on here :/ but whenever I can and feel like it at the weekend.
4. Wife???
5. Last time my kart was ridden was october last year. It is in pieces, getting a roll cage and suspension, and a built up clone. I am seriously missing it :(

On my 5 acre track
It was for the kids but it's mine now due to how much power it has.
I try to ride as much as possible, when it's not broken.
She knows but doesn't care because it's a drop in the bucket when adding up the cost of building a racecar.

Ha... nice idea

1. My parents land (40acres, mostly dirt trails).

2. Have built 3 Karts since I was a kid, have no kids of my own (or maybe there's one in Panama City Beach:) (I'm 29)

3. At least one day per weekend... Girlfriend and Pinball Machines take up the rest of the time.

4. Not married. Although, my girlfriend asked how much I was spending with my bro, and all I said was "hey, I can always sell it"

5. Karts aren't quite done yet. Ride 4-wheeler or dirt-bike once a month...sad:(

1. Where do you ride your kart. Can't yet but in the desert.

2. Is the kart for you or your kids. For me but I imagine I'll have my son with me a time or two.

3. How much time do you spend working on it. A couple hours a week. Still collecting parts.

4. Does your wife know how much money you spent on it.
No, she would kill me. She hardly ever looks at our finances so it's easy to hide.
5. How often do you ride it. Can't yet.

I have been loving the answers to question #4...I am lucky my wife never complains about my toys , as long as I let her buy shoes (she buys 2 pairs a week)
