I'm pretty sure it's an AmPride AP170F ...
Bore * Stroke: 70mm * 56mm
Displacement: 208cc
Maximum Output at 3600RPM: 7HP (5.1KW)
Max Torque: 15N.M/2500RPM
Ignition Type: T.C.I
Fuel Tank Capacity: 3.6L
Oil Capacity: 0.6L
Dimensions: 376mm * 312mm * 335mm
Net Weight: 16KG

exactly the same thing as the princess auto "AllPower" 208cc (fan shroud was modified)

I think it'll be okay.. two bigger companies buy that stuff and sell it under a pseudo brandname.

it's the same stroke as the Honda GX200, just slightly bigger bore
(honda gx200 bore x stroke: 68 X 54 mm)
So if you're lucky it's otherwise a perfect clone and you can easily find replacement or even performance parts.

PS reliability?? I have no clue.. but again two bigger retailers sell that stuff, so it shouldn't be the worst clone ever ;)

I've had a couple of "all power" lawn mower engines go on me. I got 1 hour from each. After the third one, I returned it to princess auto and bought a brigs. Was just done with the whole thing. Maybe the horizontal are better than the vertical. Just the experience I've had.

Better?

Can you post a link to the engine, not just a pic?

Edit: As this relates to your existing thread, I have merged the two...
