Macfarlane. Can you please read Posting and You! and not Capitalize Every Word You Type. Not Every Word Needs To Be Capitalized. Is This How You Write English In Your Everyday Life?

smart meaning..cool,neat,interesting??

No.

Not to you Kieran, just to the whole idea of it. English is butchered enough due to ignorance. Don't butcher it cause you find it to be "cool, neat, or interesting." I know people who write in all caps but the capitalized letters are noticeably larger while the other letters are much smaller even though they are written in the standard capital look. SORT OF LIKE THIS.

I try to type normally with upper and lower case letters. However, ... when writing by pen, ... I unfortunately use all caps. I think it has to do with all the drafting classes I had as a kid.

Also, .. I print, hand writing to me just never caught on.

I, too, print, but I just don't see the novelty of writing every first letter capital. It just looks uneducated and and makes one look ignorant. How can I trust your information if you can't even grasp the language in which it's written?

1). It's what I grew up with AND when doing technical drawings, ... that's the industry standard. All caps.

2). No one is forcing you to trust my information that I provide or anything I say for that matter.

3). I write a hell of a lot faster in caps. Before the computer age, ... it was considered the norm for shop folks, ... heck for most male adults and it was not considered yelling. That's something new since the computer age.

It does seem your getting to hung up about the subject. If it bothers you that much, ... don't read it. Ebonic texting is were it holds most younger people back.

No, Bill, that wasn't directed at you! I'm sorry about the misunderstanding. I would trust your 2 cents any day. Your work is great. I was talking to our "smart" writing friend.
