Here I am ;)

Your engines old 15-tooth/#428 counter sprocket looks just fine to keep using on your kart, and I still think you should use a 29-tooth axle sprocket.

You could order your axle & counter sprockets here:
http://sharkshifter.com/zc/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=96

You could order your choice of a steel or aluminum axle sprocket. (but steel will probably last longer...)

Here's the direct link to the #428/40mm-bore, steel sprocket I'd get:
http://sharkshifter.com/zc/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=96_101&products_id=568
I'd just order that one with 29-teeth. (and dont forget to order a new key made to fit 40mm axles too, unless you already have a good one from your old sprocket hub...)
________

That same shop also sells new counter sprockets (your choice of any between 13 & 20 tooth) to fit the CR-80. Your old 15-tooth looks fine to me, but you could order a new 15-tooth from them if you want to replace it now.

I think a 15-tooth counter sprocket is perfect for your gearing, but if you want better acceleration/or a higher top speed, you could always replace your counter sprocket with one that has less/or more teeth later after you ride the kart and see how it does

Yay! and thanks. On the axle from my kart, it has a sprocket but and it has this adapter type thing on the axle which i can unscrew to take off the sprocket which im guessing is for a 2 piece or split sprocket?

At cheapcycleparts.com, you can usually order a couple teeth bigger or a couple teeth smaller for your engine sprocket. Just enter the donor bike's year, make, and model...

Yep that's called a sprocket hub. Your new sprocket will have a built-in hub, but you could prolly re-use the same key with your new sprocket.

Does your axle have a keyway machined in where you'll be needing to instal your new sprocket, to line-up with your CR-80 counter sprocket? (some 40mm axles do, and some dont...)

Your new sprocket will need to be located like this pic:

what kind of results would i get using a 50-70 tooth axle sprocket? is it the higher the tooth amount the more speed and less torque ill get?

Other way around: high numbers = low gear = less speed & more torque.

Having said that, you should still get a decent top speed out of it

hmm came up at 85 kmph, which isnt fast but its quick. trying to get like 100-120ish. So something like ander said would be around 140km which is really fast lol so im gonna look for something around 35-40 tooth

edit: nvm... im getting weird results..

this cant be right can it?

You have to calculate a 3 to 1 primary reduction you have between your engine and transmission input shaft. I didnt double check your figures, but you'd simply want to reduce your final results by 1/3 to compensate for this primary reduction ratio...

35 to 40 tooth axle sprocket would be fine, your top speed would probably be in the 45 to 50mph range.
