Could this be a two stroke?

Has a reserve tank above engine with two stroke oil but it doesn't go to the carb

I had a yamaha blaster (2 stroke) and you would put straight 4 stroke in the gas tank, and 2 stroke oil in another tank just like that behind the seat(Called oil injected or fuel injected, not sure), but that exhaust really does not look like like its for a 2 stroke, i dont see an expansion chamber. Do you know what it is like its name or anything? Willing to bet some one that knows a lot more about engines than me will come along and know the answer, but could you post another picture of the exhaust? In the first picture it looks like there is an expansion chamber in the middle left, basically if where the exhaust comes out of the engine is really big and fat, then its a 2 smoke. Willing to bet that it is actually because im pretty sure its a fuel/oil injected (not sure which is the name for it) four wheeler.

I cant tell by looking if it is 2 stroke or 4 stroke....
but sometimes on older 2 strokes with oil injection people bypass the oil injection and just run mixed gas...either because the oil injection no longer works or because they don't trust it. Seen older sleds like that.

whatever it is, it looks like a huge project.

I think what you are looking at is the future home of a predator engine and torque converter. And the exhaust looks nothing like a tradition two stroke like a blaster or banshee

Ya probably some Chinese knockoff. ^^^ Scrap that engine, fix up the frame and everything else, put a predator and torque converter in it and it will probably be better than it ever was with the engine in it now.

Simple question: does it have valves?

Post pics of the rest of the thing to try and see what it is. The 2 stroke oil take does not go to carb they go to the motor.
My polaris engine is setup the same way with oil injection.

Ok I'll get more pics when I get home in a few hours. The only badgering of any kind says cpi. No other Id plates or anything. Besides the sticker that says don't ride it while I'm drunk.

Honda has a motorbike line of CDI's, possibly the engine is from one, or the quad utilizes the same engine...?
