I have a comet 20 asymmetrical torque converter and I when I bought it no belt came with it. My driven is 6" in diameter and from the driven to the other pulley it was 7 1/8 - 7 3/16. the belt model for that is 203579a. Now I can find that belt but, but I can't find a asymmetrical 203579a belt. So I was looking at at comet 30 belt which has the same measurements and is asymmetrical. The model no. Is 203590a. Please I could use some help

The Comet 30 Series & Obsolete CAT 99 Series are Asymmetric Systems.

The Comet 20 Series and the Obsolete TC88 Series are Symmetric Systems.

This is off THIS website. The 20 series is symmetric, and was never made Asymmetric. You are probably looking at the "20" stamped on your TC. Am i right? This doesn't mean it is a 20 series. It is actually a 30 series TC.
