connecting a sprocket to motor

hi guys i wonder if you could help i have found a motor that i will be using for my project but im trying to work out how to attach a sprocket to it in order to attach a chain i think i need a hub or something and websites i can find 1

go to a bearing shop. They will stock sprockets there. Basically you fix it on with grub screws.

ah i thought i had to affix a hub to it then attach a sprocket to that

oh and at the risk of sounding a real noob lol what does pitch and bore mean on a sprocket i am a compleat newbie to this so try use idiot prof terms lol

Pitch is the size of the chain. Bore is the inside diameter of the sprocket. I think what you need is something like this
