yes if he was speeding in a car or walking around smasked and abusing people

but for a crime that most cops ignore yes he should

i would expect most cops to ignore me

think about it if your cousin worked in a cafe u would expect a discount every now and agian

working in a cafe, and protecting your life, and other's lifes, are completly different.

Take the "cousin" part out of the equation.....ahh, its completly different now.

A cop(being his cousin or not), would rather be a d!ck than let someone get hurt....ever heard of a conscious?

All this means is that your cousin takes his responsibilites seriously. Perhaps that makes him a good cop, rather than a biased jerk that is willing to turn a blind eye to laws and safety when it suits him. I'd rather the good cop...

In that vein, my neighbour is a cop. We get along just fine, and he is a nice guy. He absolutely does not give me a hard time over my kart. Why? circumstances. I live out in the boonies, off a dirt road with a 50mph speed limit that sees maybe one car per hour. I wear a DOT-certified helmet and am restrained with a 4-pt racing harness. He has seen that I am very aware of what I am doing and don't just tear-@ss all over the place blindly. I can assure you that if I was flying around like an idiot stick in a populated area and endangering myself and/or others, he'd nail me to the wall. Friend or no friend, neighbour or not.
