those 2 stroke push bikes are louder and they are road legal

Those aren't legal, for a "powered" bicycle to be legal in Aus it must be electric and have a power output of 200w (yeah, that's right, 1 fifth of a kilowatt) or less. Anything else, by law, needs to comply to the current motorcycle ADRs and be registered as a motorbike. Luckily, not many places enforce this.

Pretty **** rules hay.

If you don't wana get a fine, don't ride on the road or in the parks. It's illegal, simple as that.

A kart will fit on a roof rack, you can get one cheap for most cars. Even better, you should be able to pick up a crappy (but still registered) 6x4 trailer for a few hundred bucks.

If you have nowhere to ride a cart why did you get a kart........... Find a abandoned parking lot and see if the owners will let you ride on it.

i think you need to take this problem to the top.

Your cousins mum/your aunty. Get her to tell your cousin to get lost. If that fails then goto your Grandmother :D

Hahaha yeah seems like a great idea! I think because my cousin was with his partner he didn't want to seem biased because last time I spoke to him he was keen to see it go.

That's not legal here either, police can enforce the road laws in parking lots. Dunno if the land owners have the final say though.

Abandoned parking lots are certainly few and far between too!

Im making do in the park without any problems so far. I was driving around the park fro a good twenty minutes which is right over the road from my house and my mum says it's no louder than a lawn mower so it shouldn't annoy people if I don't to it for extended periods of time. And yes, Australian Police are just plain fun cops.

its not like every second person has a kart

they are so few and far between that most people would assume it is someone gardening or cleaning

I knew cops would hassle there own family and neighbors. What a job. Even off duty.

Ask him if there has been any complaints?

Never ride in the same area over and over for long peroid of times. Thats what pisses people off. I see mini bikes ride in my street daily on weekends.

big head, why dont you just talk to the cops? our go karts at least 25 via gps, so the cops are okay with us, as long as were not getting crazy insane on the road, and do that over in the parking lot of wayne, me and my neighbor ride around blocks, to the gas station down the street and all around, the cops here are cool, theres 2 cops that gave us a problem, at the point we went down and had them give us a paper stating we could do so, and we havent had problems at all, we ride to gas stations, around the blocks, all of it, and if its a nice dry day, well go, sometimes we wear sweatshirts because it gets a bit nippy at night over here, and we like to go sometimes around 8 till 9, we juts ride them down the street there, come up in the parking lot, and race and have fun, once i get the all my parts together, which is about the 22nd, and i get everything done, which is probablly the 23rd (my birthday, i like to ride on my birthday) ill take a full video, of me and the neighbors karts, running down to the highschool, coming up in the parking lot and ill hand my little brother over the camera, and hell take a nice video of what we do there

Is it bad that I want to call the cops on my neighbor? I won't of course, but he's a Chinese quad guy and he thinks revving the engine=tuning it, I'm talking unnecessary, over the top revving.

I work the night shift and sleep days and it's always when I'm trying to sleep. :mad2:

lool if he's doing it during the day then he's not breaking any laws, most noise ordinances dont start until 9 or 10 pm, you should go talk to him and see if you can come up with a better direction for his exhaust to aim or a better time for him to do it, most neighbors dont want the trouble, but your the one going against the grain, not him.

invest in a white noise machine if its faint and if its loud try a different room. I am not trying to be unsympathetic, but if your coming super early prolly shines lights all over his house and slamming car doors etc every day, he's prolly not real fond of you either. just pointing out the flip side.

you're mad at your cousin for doing his job?

why?

cause he's your cousin?

if he lets you slide with the law, then he has to let everybody.

yes if he was speeding in a car or walking around smasked and abusing people

but for a crime that most cops ignore yes he should

i would expect most cops to ignore me

think about it if your cousin worked in a cafe u would expect a discount every now and agian
