Comet Torque Converter Problem

Hey guys, need help with my new project (check the project log sub-forum for my thread).

I'm not 100% sure, since I've never really dealt with torque converters before, but shouldn't the two red dots (that I added via MSPaint) line up together?

If so, how do I get them that way?

What you have shown in the pic is correct, the cam rests on the rubber buttons as shown. I've attached a .pdf file for the driven side (what you have shown) for setting spring preload. There should be three numbered holes in the face plate, setting the spring tension using the number 1 hole is for flat ground with no hills, setting the tension using the number 3 hole is for hilly terrain. man why didnt i see that post yesterday before i tore mine all apart bought a clutch and chain and a gear for the drive shaft.o well it still flies.

NEW PROBLEM!!!

I took my first test drive with the new engine on and things went great.

Then...

KABOOM!

My torque converter flies off and hits me right in the elbow!

I found almost all the pieces except I now one of those pins that go inside the clutch and a rubber thingy-whodilly that goes inside the driven clutch.

Where can I find replacements?
