Comet magnum 44C

Anyone know where to get a complete one? I can only find them in singular pieces. Does the magnum have a backing plate and a cover like the others? cuz I cant find either of those at all

Just buy the driver, driven and belt separately. No comet backplate is made for this tc.

is there a cover? and when it says 44c and 44d does that mean c as in clutch and d as in drive pulley?

The Comet 40/44 series is not "A Unit". The driver and driven must be purchase separately. They mount independantly, too- the driver on the engine, the driven on a jackshaft which you must fabricate or source elsewhere. There is no such thing as a backplate or cover for this particular system. It is designed like this to cover a wide range of applications and therefore different distances apart. As such, there is also not one proper belt size, but several- and you must measure your spacing and order the correct belt for your application.
