Comet 30 install problem ... short crank

I'm trying to install a comet 30 onto a Tecumseh 8 hp snowblower
engine, the crankshaft is short ... leaving just 3/8" for the hub driver. Is there a keyed sleeve made to make my 3/4" into a longer shaft 1"? If so I could send back this 3/4" comet and order a 1" ... or ????

That is enough room. No need to worry.

3/4 bore torque converter dive unit fits a 3/4" DIAMETER shaft

1" torque converter dive unit fits a 1" diameter engine shaft.

Sounds like you just need a longer bolt. Common issue and guys do it that way all the time.
