Comet 20 or 30 series?

What's the difference between a 20 and a 30?
Can someone recommend one to me? I have zero experience with torque converters. Only know that it's a must have.
Older carter brothers with 6.5 hp

uhm.. series 20 and 30 are the exact same size.. neither one is actually bigger
or allows for more HP
(better... hmmm yeah okay maybe the series 30 is better ;))

the series 30 is asymmetric (means the belt and thus sheave angles differ from one side to another, the benefit of that is, that the TC can provide you with a 10% overdive (which the series 20 as a symmetric belt system lacks)

PS main and most obvious difference apart from the sheave angles of the fixed sheave: the driver unit on a series 30 ALWAYS runs outboard, the series 20 MOSTLY inboard (if not equipped with a reverse wound spring)
