Color Shifting Paint

Pearl to my eye, absorb too much light. Therefore to me you can get a nice shine out of the clear but the pearl underneath just looks dirty to me. That is about the best explanation I can give. Metallic on the other hand the shine looks shiny all the way through. it seems to reflect more light. To my eye anyway.

Do remember that a camera on an overcast day can make any paint job look like total garbage.

I painted this bike in the color shift paint, I’m guessing 8ish yrs ago. Green into purple or vise versa. Green was the original color but I wanted something different, here’s a couple pics and I apologize now if there crooked. F-A I do like the blue/purple look, nice work.

Yup and I have to add it’s a Tecumseh (sp) that runs GREAT.

I also gave El Mini a couple of coats of the Blue to Purple color shifting paint

* This is sprayed right over the original/factory dark green (not black)

From the color shape thing in the ad, the look of the pearl powder, itself & also the mixture, I thought it would shift from gold to green
...but, found that it actually shift's from green to gold
...still looks really kool
