Hi DIY has any one bought any of these coleman mini bikes. Ether the 100cc or the 200cc trail bikes. Walmart has the 100cc on sale for 300$. It sounds like a good deal any comments would be helpful. I also wonder the axle size ect... thanks.

I got my son one last year and he's rode the fire out of it. Two things we've had issues with were the gas cap leaks and I'm having issues with the clutch grabbing at idle. I've tried to clean it but no luck. I'm about to post a separate question about this.

mmarmino look at the post my Coleman my mods. Your clutch might need to oiled. I oil my clutches almost every time I start the motor.

Some of it depends who will be riding it.

For example, I had the Doodlebug (I believe it was a 98cc) and it pulled me fine. Not too fast, but would go up most hills. (I was about 120 pounds back then...several years ago lol). My dad would get on it (he is about 200) and didn't go well at all, on flat road is all it would do.

A few years after the DB, I upgraded to the Warrior, 200cc, and it literally was unstoppable with me on it off road. Top speed of about 18-20. Pulled dad fine as well.

Now if you REALLY want some power, get the 200cc and put a torque converter on it. I hit about 40 on a flat road on it, downhill goes even faster. It's so fast dad is a little scared to ride it :D
